RIP Liquid


I just found out that one of my earliest blog followers took her own life on Christmas Eve, after sending out a wonderful Christmas message to her friends.

I'm just so sad.

I have never met Liquid, but just knew she was a person I would have liked as a face-to-face friend. She was my friend.

All the best, Liquid. I hope you are in peace now, and happy.

Oh, wow. This breaks my heart. Depression can be such a dark, deep hole. Her family is in my thoughts.

Hi,

I didn't know her, but I guess that I visited the blog recently.
The reasons why she did it, only her could justify, but I want to take this chance to remind that we need to stop the indifference that reigns in this world to see if people start trusting each other, namely friends, to speak about their problems.
So that what seems difficult may become simple.

I am so sorry for her friends and family. That's very sad.

I'm sorry for your loss. I knew someone who committed suicide and it's so devastating because you drive yourself crazy wondering what you could have done in retrospect. It's sad and maddening.

Well, guys, it's worse than I thought it could ever be. It's so bad, I had to pre-empt my previously scheduled post for today. Yeah, I know. Reeal baaad. My mother died last night. I don't know how to feel or what I feel. I am sad, but not just because of her passing. I am sad for a wasted lifetime of anger, resentment, and hatred. She'd been in and out of the hospital over the past few years and was getting on, but you know, when it actually happens, it's always a shock. It doesn't matter how much time you have to mull things over, knowing this is bound to happen sooner rather than later. It's still unbelievable when it finally does happen. This last time, she had been in the hospital for about two weeks, but had been doing quite well. They were just waiting for a bed to open up for her at a longer-term care facility so that she could further recuperate before returning home. She was in the hospital for multiple spinal fractures. Thank you, osteoporosis. Nothing at all related to her eventual demise. Last Sunday, she was walking the halls in the hospital. Monday, she didn't feel so great. Tuesday came and she b...
